We didn’t want to check in our bags because we had a connection in London and didn’t want to lose our bags, thus decided to pack as light as possible for our 12 day trip to Kenya. I’m used to wearing makeup when I go out, and usually when I travel my makeup bag is one of my heavier items. This trip I packed my minimal beauty/skincare items and tried to keep little liquid content. I’ve never traveled abroad with a carry-on for more than 3 days. This trip only the necessities were packed. I must admit that not having to wait at the baggage carousel and the risk of losing the luggage made the trip a lot more hassle-free.
